Smoke Rise Prep invites prospective families to a tour of our facilities and an opportunity to see our teachers and students in action. Welcome to Smoke Rise Prep!
Welcome to a unique approach to blended learning! Not only do we blend online and classroom learning in a brick and mortar setting, we blend public and private education in an environment where parents share the responsibility of their child's lessons with our certified teachers. We invite you to browse our site to learn how families from the metro Atlanta area are coming together to create a positive learning environment for our children using Georgia Cyber Academy, a state-approved charter school.
Smoke Rise Prep is located in Smoke Rise Baptist Church on Hugh Howell Road. We offer onsite certified teachers who guide our children through the nationally acclaimed K-12 Curriculum. Our children are registered students at the Georgia Cyber Academy, a public charter school. For the 2013-14 school year, our center will be open to 1st - 7th grade students in Georgia, and is currently home to over 65 students in 1st - 6th grades.
This is an exciting and innovative approach to educating our children and we welcome your family to learn more by touring our facility soon!
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to develop students who think critically and act responsibly. We accomplish this by providing a unique and dynamic approach to education that stimulates minds while developing the values of responsible citizenship and respect for others. Our staff members partner with students, parents, and community members to promote a challenging, nurturing, and creative environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning in our children.
OUR VALUES
Our parents and teachers partner together as co-learning coaches to provide our children with a comprehensive education in an environment that respects individual differences and promotes community values. While our racial, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds are quite diverse, we are united in our belief in the importance of education and that a complete education is only achieved through partnership between the family and the community.

TOURS
We will begin group tours again in January for those interested in applying for the 2013-14 school year. If you are considering enrollment for the second semester of the 2012-13 school year January, and would like a private tour, please contact us via the web site and we will email you to set up an appointment.
